Customer reported that the battery got water damage,
He tried to get BMS boards and could not get it.
Tried to claim from insurance but the claim was unsuccessful.
He contacted us Technodrive and we advised him that we can Upgrade his old BMS to more advanced one with more features.
The new BMS we installed come with Active Balancing, Bluetooth and app connectivity.
Normal bms don’t have Active Balancing which reduce efficiency.
What is Active Balancing : is a method of Cell balancing where the BMS monitors each 16 cells if one cell is having too much voltage the voltage will be transferred to the cell with lower voltage and increase efficiency.
Standard BMS monitors all the cell and if one cell is having high voltage it will be reduced by pulling it down using resistors and the power will be lost as heat and reduce efficiency.
